Tentación

Electronic dark drum and bass inspired track composed for the Composer Weekend Jam #16 based on the theme "Rescore". 

For this submission I decided to compose a track as if I were the composer of one of my favourite games which is Cult of the Lamb. The track is meant for a boss battle theme and tries to capture a tense and dynamic feeling of action and darkness.

The name means temptation in spanish and is inspired by the fact that in the game you can be a very evil cult leader and do horrible things to your cult members, but you also can decide to be a kind cult leader and take care of you cult members, even sacrifice the ones who put the other ones in danger, you can also honor their loyalty by doing funerals and giving them care and atention. 

So I find that very interesting in the game, it gives you the option to decide to be evil or kind haha and its kinda like life itself, we have a billion oportunities to choose our actions considering the consecuences . In the game you also have to defeat evil characters to gain power and avenge the extermintion of your kind, being us -the player- the last lamb existing. 

River Boy is one of my favourite composers ever so this is a little homage to him and his legacy (RIP).
